Getting excited about watching some Allen Eagle football this fall. The new stadium is really coming along. Every day my son and I drive by it so this week we started this discussion - what is going to be the name of this stadium ?? We used to have the Double Wide for the old stadium but I don't think I have heard of names for this new location.
We started kicking around "The Nest", "The Rock", etc. What should this place be called ?? We need a fear instilling name for this place so that other teams will know they have to play at _________ - Home of the Allen Eagles.
Also, now that we will have a video board, I wonder if the pre-game entrance procedure will change a bit. Some colleges have some very cool entrances (i.e. Virginia Tech).
And before the opposers to the stadium start jumping on this thread and suggesting "The Money Pit" or "The Big Waste", or "My Tax Dollars Not At Work", we get it - you didn't want the thing.
Just thought we could start some conversation around this very important topic ...

If everything works out as hoped, it will probably end up being something like "AT&T Field at CoServ Stadium sponsored by a partnership between Texas Instruments, BCBS of Texas, and Raytheon for the Allen Eagles".

How about...The Sink Hole, The Money Pit, Bottoms Up, The Glass is Half Full But My Pockets Are Half Empty.
I am still trying to figure out how that thing is going to make money for the school system and the city.
Maybe we can get Jimmy Buffett to come play here next year and recover some of our expenses.

Why can't some people on the losing side of a vote accept defeat in a mature and adult way? OP asked for legitimate names for the stadium, but no, the losing side can't let this go. The people have spoken. The citizens voted to finance the stadium. The losers need to let it go. What a poor example you complainers set. It's time to lose with dignity.

Something related to the word Pink.
Was driving home yesterday East on Exchange and didnt realize just how pink the bricks are on the new stadium.
In my opinion, a nice deep red (richer looking color) brick would have looked alot better.

No, they are the same color. The dark red roof on the school sort of makes them look a little different.
I noticed the brick on the school before but it really stood out just how pink the bricks are when I was driving over 75 and the sun was hitting the stadium. Take a look next time, you will see it looks pink.

For $60 million dollars, every citizen of Allen should be able to get tickets, not just the extra 3,300 all that money spent will offer.

Per the AISD website - Season ticket information will be published on April 9. Sales have always occurred in May/June.
