I was just at their website scouting out my next meal and on their homepage it says "Coming soon Allen TX!". Has anyone heard about this? I intend to ask the owners the next time we're there which will probably be tonight but got very excited at this. Of course, where they are currently located in Plano isn't much of a drive from Allen but it sure would be nice to have them closer!

I posted on this awhile back. I talked to the owner and she said they are moving into the Valero at Main & Allen Heights. There have been people in there recently renovating the space...looks awfully small.

Yep, it's official. They are moving into the little spot right next to Valero. I talked to the owner last night and she said they are looking at opening in the next 2-3 weeks. We drove by after dinner and it's definitely small but but I'm thinking they might be catering more to a takeout crowd in this location. Really looking forward to this!

We really like Chito's for a quick, casual meal. It is a cut above the typical run of the mill Tex-Mex places using analogue cheeses. Between this and El Grande Burrito it will hard to choose.

Talked to the owner again last night, there will be 11 tables at the Allen location. Set to open around March 9 or so(during Spring break he said).

Is Chito's inside Valero or next to it? I drove by that area but do not see it. Or unless is inside Valero. If so, is it open yet? Has anyone try it and how is it?

West side of same building and as of a couple days ago the attendant said it was to be open around the 1st of April.

We had dinner at the Plano location last night and we asked about it. They are currently having inspections done. They said it's a long process and hopefully will be open soon!

Yay, I heard they were open! A coworker passed there on his way to work this morning and saw the grand opening sign. I'm not sure of the hours for this location, but if it's the same as Plano, will probably be 11 a.m. to 9 or 10 p.m. during the week. The Plano location is closed on Sunday. Not sure what they'll do in Allen. I think I know where we'll be eating dinner tonight!

We just came home from eating dinner at the Allen location. You just can't beat those $1 tacos. Yummy! Our family loves the salsa so much we buy a pint to-go each time we stop at Chito's

8 tacos
nachos with beef, beans, and cheese.
All delicious, and cheap.
