Ok I think this forum has become stale again! I thought this might be fun.
What would you like to see invented in the future? Cars that can drive themselves? Retina scans everywhere to keep you from having to carry a wallet/purse? Transporter device (like in Star Trek)?
Let's have a little fun with this topic. No grandstanding, nothing rude, just friendly conversation.

There ya go...maybe something that can turn trash into a usable fuel or provide energy? Remember Back to the Future's "Mr Fusion"? HA!

A way to pipe gasoline to pumps at our homes so we could be billed monthly for fuel. Plus then we wouldn't be tempted by all that high calorie convenience store food lol

Or one that won't let adults away from the vehicle...until they properly take the child from the car as well. Hey this brainstormin' thread might be useful.

And won't let the car go in drive unless the child is properly restrained!

Hmmm, what about...seriously, what about a design like the roll on deodorants?

There already are cars that can drive themselves. Obama test drove one around Detroit, I believe. Several miles around town. Just not quite ready for prime time. But they better hurry. With all the cars doing things FOR us these days, people are forgetting how to drive. I get lots of laughs watching people on my street try to parallel park. I believe 2014 will require all cars to have backup cameras? Many already have blind spot warnings? What happened to humans that they can't turn their heads? Personally, I'd like to see a new invention called common sense and common courtesy!

I asked for and received a Sleep Number pillow for Christmas as I hate having a hot pillow. I have really enjoyed it. It has a tube on it so you can adjust the thickness as well. Stays cool all night. Both sides. About $80.00 but worth it!

I wish I had invented this. While looking for a dog door solution for my three dogs, I stumbled across doors4dogs in Hedron. This guy has built a window panel replacement for window doors that is made of a solid piece of 1/2 inch Lexan with a dog door cut into it. You can't break Lexan with a hammer, so it makes the door convenient and burglar proof. Took me literally 15 minutes to install.
