We are under a Slight Risk today of severe weather. The severe threat will be an early one as the cold front is expected to arrive in our area in the late morning and should be pushing past our area around lunchtime. The severe threat today is expected to mainly be hail and isolated damaging wind gusts in excess of 60MPH, the tornado threat is low. After the cold front pushes through, we should be seeing just rain.

If you plan on being on the road anytime between 10-1pm today, be mindful of the possibility of hail and wind gusts. Also be mindful of pooled water from the rains, that can make driving dangerous. Stay safe!

Also don't forget, temps will drop into the 40's and 50's by the afternoon so dress appropriately. NWS has also downgraded the wind threat, only expecting gusts up to 45MPH now. Still dangerous conditions if you are on the road so be safe!

Cold front has moved through and most of the storm activity is behind the front, so severe possibilities are pretty much gone. Only dealing with lots of rain for the next couple of days now. :)

I drove with the kids to Lewisville to get ballet shoes. It was 70. Had the boy in shorts and a t-shirt. Came out of the store (with a lighter wallet) and the temp had dropped to 50. That was one heck of a drive down 121 against the wind and rain!
Crazy doesn't even begin to cover it.

Will work for shoes!
