(wiping a tear) That was moving. I'm deeply touched. Now, don't let the door hit ya.
Wow! CaryGold and JRC have chased away yet another contributer due to their insane attitude towards anyone who disagrees with them.
Says the easily most intellectually bankrupt liar on this forum.
When are you gonna start telling the truth, Joe?
I'm going to write a book about you: "Lying Liars and the Lies They Tell".
Don't bother asking what lie, spinmaster. Because the very question is further indication of your dishonesty.
Thank you for your help in demonstrating exactly how insane and rude your comments can be to others who disagree with you. It helps demonstrate my point quite nicely.

It appears your contradict yourself or in fact you are talking about yourself.
OR its not rude to call someone insane...twice.
Richardb and I disagree very much on this issue, and I think "clueless" is as rude as the conversation got... although we do not agree at all.
While your comments appear to be purely incendiary with no input to the topic at all.

Yep, I don't think I was rude. Just calling it as I see it.

And here is, IMHO, where you get insane. When I dieagree with you, you don't try to have a reasonable discussion on the ways we might disagree and why. No, instead you feel the urge to say that I am trolling.

this was supposed to be a response to Jimi and Cary saying IDs are good if there is adequate access!
That was my point as well, before Jimi tried to make me feel inferior because I asked how many people we were talking about.
I asked multiple times earlier if the number was small enough that giving a realistic solution, there could be ways to get IDs to all that qualify.
So Jimi, I guess the answer to your "who cares" question is really...you, me and Cary.
If you'd stop being so darn testy, you might have seen my point a lot sooner.
Hope your rainy day just got a rainbow!!!

This is a perfect example Joe of your trolling, you did not state an opinion about the subject rather you attacked people on this forum.
The same as you did in this thread... you offer nothing of substance, no thought related to the subject or even a thought to a related subject in the usual topic drift, just outright attacks on people...
So you must be trolling.. because a 12 year old kid can do what you do.

We all do it from time to time....comments that are related to the person, not the topic, that is. You, me, Joe....all of us. In fact, it seems to be getting much more common. Just look at the exchange between Jimi and Richard. That's a prime example.

They only thing I offered was the observation that you can JRC have chased off yet another participant by the insane way you both behave in this forum. You are choosing to disagree with me by accusing me of trolling, which ironically only serves to illustrate my observation.
Thank you for continuing to demonstrate your “insane attitude”. It really helps to illustrate my point for all to see.

MGRAYAR, you've made an excellent point. Given Jimi's history which even Al acknowledged, you have to be one king sized douche for Jimi to turn on the personal stuff. Jimi has always been the example of decency in this forum.

I would agree. The Richard/Jimi exchange did seem a bit out of character. It happens to us all.

Such class Jimi, such class. I've always found that sooner or later a person's true character, or lack of, gets revealed.
BTW, your buddy carygold WAS the one all hot and bothered by the numbers that would be affected. I was just providing you the answer you sought.
It's apparent that you and carygold and missingchico all have the 'my way or your wrong and not only are you wrong, but you're stupid' attitudes.
In the past 3 weeks, cary has called me a moron, you have called me a d_ _ k and missingchico sent me a PM to 'Go @#$% myself.
All of you have a common mission to run off anyone who dares to challenge your self-appointed authority, by insults and ridiculing.
I have taken a leave from this forum before when others demonstrated they had no control over their temperaments if anyone challenged or offered different opinions.
So, I am leaving again. There are so many more positive things I can do than be involved in such childish and immature replies from you and others.
Any of you 3 can respond to this if you like, but I won't reply back and so, if you like spitting into the wind, go right ahead.
Richard, a meaningful, thoughtful debate is always welcome. It's your approach that is so offensive. Your return to this forum correlates to the recent downgrade of the conversation. You're like Realtor Guy reincarnated. Try to ask a question without the self righteous indignation and you'll most likely get the same in return. MGRAYAR is quite skilled at deflecting and changing the topic, however he's not offensive and can contribute. You're just looking for a fight.

And this is exactly why the board is getting fewer and fewer postings. Too many attacks. My friends warned me about posting opinions, that it's run by a few who like to hear themselves talk. It's too bad Allenites can't get along in a respectful manner.

Perhaps this isn't a place for the lighthearted, but overall we get along. This board is quite a good gauge of the entire country today. As long as you make a point and have a reasonable argument beyond simply quoting FAUX NEWS or Ed Shultz, you should be safe. But I'm pretty sure your toes have been in this water before.

I guess I missed these comments.
All I ask for is an honest discuission. When I responded with the "moron" comment which I apologized for I was asking you to look at the real numbers.
Link
You responded with with an attitude and incorrect numbers
you said Jimmy Carter spent $997 billion, GW Bush spent $5 trillion and Obama spent $13 trillion.
Then you left a snide remark "Should I look up some more stuff? "
If you add your numbers then the total is almost $19 trillion about $4 trillion over the current national debt. The nations GDP is about $14 trillion, If Obama had spent $13 trillion there would be no recession, there would be no bad bridges, our infrastructure would be perfect and everyone would have a job.
So if you don't want to have an honest discussion using real information, and close with sarcasm, then you inspire those kind of responses.
It's the main problem with this whole country, real data means nothing, unsupported accusations don't lead us down a path to a resolution. A birth certificate from Hawaii is call a fraud and people believe it. How can we make a better country if no one believe the real data, data that can be used to improve our nation.
I don't care if you agree with me, but if you are going to misrepresent the truth, make sarcastic comments, what do you think will happen?
If you want to go away that's fine its your choice, but don't blame others for something you started. Because if you look at the link above you will see I presented data, and in return I got nothing but sarcasm.

While I'm sure this was an actual event, it is not one that would be resolved or prevented with a voter ID. It was using false signatures.
Also I might add that the system worked. The violators were caught.

Voter ID is one issue - maybe not the major source of fraud, but possibly registration and mail in ballots...Chain of custody issues, etc...
Cases in many of the large cities where more ballots were cast vs. the number of registered voters in a particular districts. I think Milwaukee, Detroit and Chicago had some instances of this in the past few elections...but was not an overwhelming amount. I will say this is only a recollection...there was no proof or means to prosecute in these instances...My apologies ahead of time not remembering accurate details..

Some more examples of where voter ID may help...
http://www.nbc-2.com/story/16662854/2012/0 2/02/nbc...
This is regarding non US citizens registering and voting in Florida...Although this was just in the hundreds, but it was only on this one district...
I'll add that we don't know which party they voted for...Could be Democrat or Republican taking advantage of the loop hole...Wrong in either case...
California...recently found out that approximately 4,000 non US citizens were registered, but incorrect addresses. They did not vote, but their vote was submitted....Their voting was done for them...
A little bit here and a little bit there, and all of a sudden some local, and possibly national elections are affected...
