If you are looking for a fun day outdoors, be sure to come out to Connemara on April 7 between 10 am and 2 pm for nature walks, bird watching, kayaking, wildlife demonstrations, kite flying, hands-on activities and more! Bring the whole family!

I also meant to mention that the Allen Garden Club will have a booth where we will have a children's activity and we are giving away free seed packets. So, if you like experimenting with growing plants from seed, this is an excellent opportunity! Most of the ornamental seeds, I just sow them directly into the garden beds, give them a little water and wait to see if they grow. A lot of the seeds are very easy to grow.
