Yeah I know. I'm hopeful that recent storms are keeping folks thinking about it more. I'm sure they are, just hope folks are safe. But I keep my scooter helmet handy too, haha!

Always smart to have a helmet handy, heavy coat (leather) to protect from debris and most importantly which people rarely think of doing late night under tornado warning is to put on a pair of shoes/boots.

Yep, and a good example was a movie scene (Die Hard I think). The actor playing a cop, was caught without shoes on when his fight started. The bad guys shot up a bunch of glass, knowing it would cause him trouble. Just remember that, haha. Good suggestion on the shoes Maurice.

I remember that scene! It's the first thing I do once I hear a tornado alert go off and it's in our area, throw on my shoes as I grab all my electronics and head to the bathroom to monitor. :)
