NWS has placed us in the Slight Risk category for today, as you can see the towering cumulonimbus are starting to pop up into towers, especially to our north and west. The area is VERY small for this activity compared to the other day and we are in the southeastern end of the risk area. The main threats could be hail and downburst winds. This isn't expected to be widespread but isolated storms, already one has fired and gone severe due to hail pretty quickly just north of the Red River in OK.
Just wanted to give a heads up, especially to anyone who may be heading north into OK. Once the cap goes any storm that gets going to be a hail producer and windy.
Categorical Threats:
Hail: 15%
Tornado: 2%
