Since we are on the topic of Austin places moving into Allen, noticed that Torchy's Tacos is moving into the old Tin Star location on McDermott. Much more excited about Torchy's than Pluckers, though both are great additions.

Oh HELLZ yeah on Torchy's! I've been to the Dallas outpost a couple of times, and it's really good. I just hope they can make it with these fickle Allenites. :)

I noticed that something was going into the old Tin Star location Friday evening, but didn't get a good look at the signage. So excited that it's Torchy's! The Preston & Forest location is always packed.

My fiance tried the Killeen location this weekend while down at Fort Hood. She was really impressed and says it will also be on our list of places to go for happy hour or pre/post drinking for nights at the AEC.

Between this, Sauced and BWW just down the road, we will never go wing hungry. Wing Stop will not last long IMO.

Went to Pluckers for their invitation only soft open. Food was great, service was excellent, atmosphere was awesome!!! My new favorite place to go. And they have a patio with large screen TVs for the sports fanatic. Doors open to the public Monday the 16th 11am!! Its wing fever!!!!!

Went on Sunday and I LOVE this place. I was hoping Allen would get a BWW, but so glad the wing gods blessed us with Pluckers and Sauced instead. I love wings, but my wife hates them and didn't like anything else on the BWW menu. So fortunate she loved her meal at Pluckers. New spot for us to watch sports at and keeps our money in city limits.

We went on Sunday as well and had a great meal. The wings were really good, as were the chips I had. We'll definitely be back!

Went on Friday for happy hour. Like Raider, I was hoping it was going to be BWW based on the hints that I think Dusty was leaving. But from what I see, this will do quite nicely. Great layout, great service great drink specials and great tv's a plenty. As for the food, couldn't really tell you. I drank my dinner that night. I did try a fried pickle (spear) and an onion ring from a friend and both were great, but didn't try a wing yet. I plan on going back this weekend to actually EAT a dinner there lol

Just a general response.

Went twice last week. I was amazed at the great service, since it had only been open for a few days. Wings are great with great flavours (different from other wing places. When asked (3 times)where I heard about them I told them ALLENONLINE. I spoke with a manager and strongly suggested they advertise on this website.

Went for lunch yesterday with a group. I'm not much of a wing fan but theirs are very good. Had the Hallelujah sauce and tried some of the Spicy Barbecue. Both very good but the Hallelujah won.

I also like that they have a wide selection of non wing items.

For sports fans, we counted 8 different channels on the MANY tv's in the place. The staff was attentive and friendly, they truly wanted to make sure they did well.

Ladies will get a chuckle, or at least an eyebrow raise, out of the sign on the men's room door ;-)

Just went there for beers after work, but the service was very spotty. We had a total of 3 different servers, no one knew who had whose order, drinks were sloooooow, second round was faster but incomplete. Looked like whoever was managing today actually wasn't.
Appetizer was good (fried pickles).

There is a lot of staff right now due to all the trainers from the other stores being there, and I've noticed from other places that sometimes that makes it more chaotic than a regular service night. We too had 3 different people getting drinks for us but that really isn't a bad thing.

And I too got a laugh out of the sign on the mens room
