We tried Torchy's last week with a large group. Everyone seemed more than satisfied. I had the Green Chili Pork and Dirty Sanchez (sorry but true) and liked both. Many in our group got the Fried Avacado taco and absolutely loved them. Even the sides were good.

Hint to those with kids, they don't list kids options but do have them on request. Just ask at the checkout.

I'm considering printing this and framing it in my office. Best laugh I've had in days.

Another hint. Ask for the Ace of Spades. It's not on the menu but they will make it. It's wonderful

Went for breakfast and enjoyed it. Can't wait to try it again for lunch or dinner

My husband and I finally had a chance to try this restaurant on Friday for lunch. He got the burrito and I got the green chile pork taco. Our food was awesome! We also had chips and salsa and tried the avocado sauce. It was really good too and you get a generous portion so you don't run out.

OMG...3 tiny tacos - $12. They were good but way overpriced. Friend saw me there at the time and later asked my thoughts...his echoed mine - $$$$$$$$

I'm curious as to what you consider "tiny" - I've had Torchy's on a number of occasions and I would not consider them "small" at all. They're much bigger than true Mexican street tacos, but they're not supposed to be some kind of Cheesecake Factory huge, either.

I guess size is relative. :)

Expensive yes, but I wouldn't say "tiny". I'm 240lbs and 2 tacos and splitting chips and salsa filled me up.

The two I got looked like the furthest one. Both of them together did not even fill the blue platter. Must depend on which kind you order.

Umm ok...valley girls.

Up there you said you got 3.

I smell a rat.

And the two in my picture are the same size. The one in front is in the foreground, so it appears larger.

They really would be tiny if they stuffed three of them in one basket. Try exercising some reasoning power. I'm in the software business not the food service industry. And rats make damn fine pets.

Today, we ate at Torchy's for the first time. I had the Chicken Fajita tacos, and Ms. CP had the beef and one other, I can't remember. Not bad at all! Chips and (red) salsa were great, too.

I just have one suggestion. Unless the "unsweetened" tea is sweet and I didn't know it (since I didn't actually try it), I'd love to see sweet tea offered. And a GOOD sweet tea batch at that, like Cheddar's or Cotton Patch.

I'm sure they have sugar packets and other artificial sweeteners so you can add it to the tea to make it sweet to your taste. The unsweetened tea is just plain tea. I don't know why restaurants have to label it "unsweetened." It should be "tea" and "sweet tea." But that is a totally different topic . . .

We have been to Torchy's on three different occasions and the food has always been very good. I like trying a different salsa each time. So far they have all been good choices.

Also, speaking of soft drinks, their Maine Root Pink Lemonade is very tasty.
