NWS has placed us under a Slight Risk for severe storms today through tomorrow. I've held off posting this to see what would develop and right to our east, is a line of severe storms that just might skirt us as they move to the north/north west. The bigger concern is the system to our west that will be moving east, which is expected to have very large hail and damaging winds. This system probably won't impact us until the overnight or tomorrow, but wanted everyone to make sure they were aware of it and pay attention to the weather forecast.

One of the local forecasters today posted a threat area map, with an image like a rabbit. Just in time for Easter!

Yep, it's pretty widespread. Thankfully, we've not seen any really severe weather here this year, so I'm all for isolated storms away from us if they're severe. ;)

I've updated the thread to reflect today's date because the storm activity yesterday skirted our area but will not do so today. A cold front will push through our area sometimes around the rush hour time frame through til about 8PM tonight. Storms are expected to be strong to severe with large hail and damaging winds, so make sure your weather radios are on and in alert mode and you keep updated with your favorite weather forecasts on TV and radio. Be mindful of this during your evening commute as storms could be underway on your drive home.

Looks like the squall line out to our west is making its way to us, we should be seeing activity in our area over the next couple of hours. Looks like hail and wind will be the main threats, right now there have been some reports of 1.75" hail out west so we'll have to see if the hail threat continues.
