Please pay VERY close attention to the weather for the next few hours, we have multiple tornado warnings for confirmed tornadoes on the ground to our south as these storms move to the north. The main one of concern for us right now to watch is the Dallas county storm, current track puts it off to our east but the storm to our west in Tarrant county could turn more towards us. These storms are either producing or have a history of producing tornadoes, so do NOT take this lightly.
There are several individual cells along with a large squall line that should pass through our area by 5PM.

The Tornado Warning for Collin County is for the southeast of Collin County, NOT for Allen at this time.

Is that why I'm hearing the warning sirens?

Those are the Plano sirens - which are now silent. The meteorologists are tracking multiple storms in the area. Stay inside and be prepared to take cover if needed.

Yes, those storms are moving east past Lucas towards Wylie. The other storm to be watching VERY closely is the Arlington storm, as well as the others popping up now. They are all going severe warned, pay VERY CLOSE ATTENTION to the news forecasts. This is a very dangerous situation unfolding.
