The latest information is that someone saw her on Jupiter. Traffic was stopping for her and a woman in a "silver caravan type vehicle" picked her up and took her in her car. If you know ANYTHING, please, please, PLEASE contact me!

Probably stupid to ask but you have checked the animal shelter, right?

Yes, I have. I also tried calling the Plano Animal Shelter. And called several local vet offices. And put up posters around our neighborhood.
I did call and get more information about what the man saw. He said she was on Jupiter by Hartland and the woman's van was parked in the town home parking lot across the street. I will be putting up fliers over there in the morning.

Check McKinney animal shelter - a LONG time ago one of my dogs got out of the backyard. That was the one place I didn't think to call and I decided to go there on a whim that was where she was.
Hope you find your baby - I know it is hard and frustrating.

If it was me and I knew the silver van was parked at the town homes, I would take a missing dog poster or photo of the dog and start knocking on doors asking the residents if they have seen your dog.

An amazing thing happened! Yesterday, I went around the town homes posting fliers and talking to everyone I met, I went to all the animal shelters in the area, and I took a flier to my vet's office. I was about to give up and go home for lunch, but my two year old twins said they wanted to keep looking. So we decided to go to "one more vet" and leave a flier. As soon as I showed the picture to the vet staff they said "We've seen this dog! A woman brought her in this morning!" They worked quickly to find her phone number and she stopped what she was doing to bring my baby back to me!! A true blessing of a woman. Apparently Chili's collar had come off, and for some reason they did not find her microchip when they scanned her. She'd even called the Animal Shelter, but when I called/went by no one had a record of a found dog fitting the description.
We spent the afternoon snuggling with Chili and making cookies for the family that took great care of her. I cannot say how grateful I am that such a wonderful person picked her up and that God made sure we connected.

I'm glad Chili is back home safe and sound! She had a true guardian angel looking after her.

Thanks, all. I'm still absolutely amazed that we got her back after more than 48 hours of looking. She hasn't been allowed in the back yard unless someone is watching her every move since she came back!
