Michael Wiener, a GOP county commissioner in New Mexico, is being asked to resign after a picture of him posing with scantily clad women in a well-known red light district in the Philippines surfaced earlier this week.
Admission: I have the exact pose in a nearby bar in the Philippines. Wife thought is would be funny to take a pic with a few of the bar girls after we bought gifts and crafts from their children outside the bar. It's a reality in the third world and I refuse to judge the women for surviving. Oddly enough however, their kids were great stewards of the city and very well behaved.

Go for it, I'm not a GOP candidate who has to put up an air of virginity and purity. Plus my wife can attest to being there to take the pic. Dang glad I dragged her along for the trip now.

I think the County Commissioner Michelle Grisham should mind her own business. The only thing this guy is guilty of is being dumb enough to let the photo of him and the girls get out.
The guy that took the photo says that Wiener does not respect women, but then why was the photographer there, to save them? Riight...Keatley, the photographer let the photo be known after he found out who Wiener was and I'll bet that got him some extra hits on his website, controversy is coinage.
I also think its unfair for the Huffington Post to attach a video about sex trafficking to this same report. They lost credibility with me on that stunt. It implies guilt on Wiener's part.
The US Navy and Air Force helped to create the sex market there, Airmen, Sailors and Marines were the biggest customers for decades. Ask any old sailor about Subic Bay.
I don't think this guy's vacation, is anyones business, even if he went to a sleazy part of town... and its no reason for him to resign.
If CEO's increased their pay at the same rate as Average Americans
