Kid's bowl free provides 2 free games of bowling for kid's all summer long. We have been doing this the last couple years at Plano Super bowl. This year Allen Bowl has joined on. Plano Super bowl tends to get crowded and sometimes is full with tournaments and therefore the public is not allowed in and thus the passes are not valid those days.
I have never been to the Allen bowl. Is it just as crowded or would I be better off taking the kids there instead?

I signed my kids up for this. I didn't realize at the time that you still have to pay for shoe rentals. We might make it one a week then.

I've bowled at both bowling alleys....both of them are good. Allen bowl has wood lanes while Plano Super Bowl has synthetic lanes.
My only complaint is that the temperature in Allen bowl tends to be rather warm during the summer, not sure if they have AC issues or just keep it warm to save on the electicity bill. Bowling just a couple of games there and I am drenched.
Regarding shoes, Academy sports sells cheap bowling shoes (I think $29 or so)...just a couple uses of them and they pay for themselves in the long run..
Hope this helps....
