Has anyone else noticed a change in the time of the day your mail is delivered? Up until about 2 months ago, I would receive my mail between 11 and 11:30 am consistently. Since then, I've noticed it being delivered many times around 2 or 2:30. Today, it still hasn't arrived.
Anyone know what might be going on?

We live off of Exchange and Malone and our mail comes anywhere from 2-6. I guess if someone calls in sick their route has to be spread around to other carriers. At least that's what our carrier told me one night around 6.

Our delivery times are consistent - usually between 1:30 - 3:00 pm. We have a new letter carrier, but times remain the same.

Our carrier has changed since the delays began. I'm not sure where the other carrier went to, but he was much more friendly than the lady who comes by now.
Maybe just our route has been affected, but it's still aggrivating since there isn't any consistency. Wish me luck in getting answers, as I've attempted doing so in the past for other things to no avail.

Ours has been pretty consistent lately, usually between 3:30 and 4:30, but has been very inconsistent in the past. I really don't have a problem with inconsistent arrival times as long as they deliver. That's the problem we have here - The days that they don't come at all!

i've always struggled to figure out when the mail carrier comes by the house. the problem is i live on a half culdesac which has lead to the mail carrier failing to deliver my mail if i'm parked in front of my home, regardless of how far i am from the mail box (usually i'm 20+ feet)...thus it can be difficult to know when i should move vehicles around if i happen to be home that day. Consider me unimpressed with the mail service to say the least

We must live in the same area. Our mail carrier just switched routes, we would get our mail between 11-12. I talked to the lady who now has our route and she told me that we are the last neighborhood on her route so thats why our mail runs late.

Ours has changed from late, anywhere from between 4:00 to 6:30 pm., to now coming around 11:00 am. I like the early time much better. Hope it continues. The truck they usually drive now is very quiet so our dog doesn't usually hear it unless he sees it from the window so it is much quieter at our house also. LOL....

Ours is coming earlier as well. Now between 12:00 and 2:00 unless the substitute guy is working. He's a very large man and obviously a little lazy. If someone is parked too close to a mailbox, he doesn't get out of the truck to put the mail in it. He moves forward and back and right to left to wedge the truck in as far as he can so he doesn't have to get out. It takes several minutes to accomplish this. He could be on down the road in the time it takes him to wiggle himself in. Quite comical.

Is your new carrier a brunette pulled back into a pony tail and wear glasses?
I'd hate to think, if it is and if we live in the same neighborhood, that we're her last route for the day. I'm literally in the center of the east side...

Yes, I have seen that guy also, though one day he was very nice and brought all of the mail to the house along with a package. The other ones usually leave the mail in the box and only put the package on the porch. However, yesterday's mail came around 2:00 or later, so don't know who delivered it. I wasn't home but know it had not come when I left around 1:00. Oh well, such is life.....
