Hi everyone, I was driving back home today around 1pm, I witnessed a dog get hit so I pulled over and stayed with him until animal control came. The dog had no collar, and the driver that hit him drove away. His back right leg is pretty beat up, but he seems to be in fairly decent condition.I would like to know this dog gets home okay, so please if you are the owner, contact me.

Thank you, Ty

Thank you so much. That's my Scooter!!! We are sitting in the vets office right now. I will let you know how he is as soon as we see the doc.

I can't thank you enough for staying with him. You saved his life.

I just can't thank you enough. You're a true guardian angel. Most people would have just driven by so for you to stop and stay with Scooter is just so wonderful.

He was in good spirits. Animal Control gave him some pain meds and didn't charge us a penny!!

He is spending the night at the vets, they said he was in shock so they are going to sedate him, give him fluids, take xrays and decided if his hips are out of socket or if his leg is broken. I will post an update again tomorrow.

Thank you again and thank you Allen Online for having a place where I could keep checking for him. I just can't thank you enough!!!!

Cudos, Ty! In a world where we hear more about people burning puppies and all the other horrendous things they do to innocent animals, it was truly heartwarming to read this story.

Just wanted everyone to know that thanks to Scooter's guardian angel, Ty, Scooter is now back home!! He had a dislocated hip and some road rash.

Ty... I still can't thank you enough. I refuse to let myself think about what might have happened if you hadn't stopped to help.

I would also add that the Allen Animal Shelter was awesome and gave Scooter pain meds until we picked him up.

One more to Allen Vet Hospital for taking such loving care of Scooter.

Thanks for helping like this. Ours was lost recently and we posted it in here as well. Sadly she was hit right next to one of the signs we had out about her. She did not survive.
