Any Duck Dynasty viewers here? We watched it for the first time last night, actually about 3 hours worth of episodes.
While I realize it's scripted and made to appear as though they're just a bunch of ignorant rednecks (although they are rather well-off from their biz fortune), I must say the show is quite hilarious and refreshing.

I agree- I don't even care that it all seems very scripted because it's so funny

That group was on the Wendy Williams Show a few weeks ago and they brought fried squirrel for her to try. She not only ate one bite, but went back for a second and probably a third bite. She said it tasted like chicken! LOL!
I did see a little bit of the show about a week ago and although I didn't watch the whole thing, I had to laugh at what I saw.

My co-worker knows these guys and says they're nothing like portrayed in the show. Two of them are millionaires and not because of the show. It does provide a good laugh. Hillbilly Handfishing gives a good laugh as well.

Yeah, I'm assuming the very nice home shown throughout the show sometimes is the main guy's and his wife's home. So, if that's the case, I'd def agree they probably aren't what they're being portrayed as in the show.
I know plenty of folks from LA; some are no different than Dallas folks. Others I just shake my head at.
The show is def worth keeping up with, IMO.
