I received this photo from the Allen Animal Shelter. It is not up for adoption, but thought it is probably the most unusual animal they have caught there in a long time! So, if you thought you saw a peacock in the area, you really did! Hopefully it will go to a local zoo.

They can be pretty common for the area, I used to have three of them when we had land on the west side.

Wonder if this one belongs to the people at 14th and Dublin in Parker. There's usually 4 on their roof in the mornings. They raise exotic animals.

I don't know if it will go to a zoo, but that makes the most sense to me. Maybe the owners will see this post and claim it.
