I took my car to Firestone and to Sears, they both agreed that the FR tie rod, bearings, control arm, ball joint, etc needs to be replaced like NOW, like emergency surgery NOW.. The thing im confused about is that 1 places says my spindle/knuckle is fine, the other place said no that it is wore completely down and could fall apart at any time. 1 price for all repairs and labor was 1600.00 and the other was for 800.00. I really dont have the money for either one, but know I need to get the repairs done ASAP!!
I want to know how can they each get a different look at the spindle and if yall think the price is good or to much. I can copy someone the quotes I got if that would help.

Please see the guys at Christian Bros. at Greenville (K Ave./Hwy5) and Spring Creek ... across from Sam's Club. They're honest and can generally beat the big chain prices.
I discovered them after receiving high quotes for a big job on a car some years ago. They came in much lower and found out that I didn't even need the most of the work the other guys said I needed.

Omgosh... Funny you mentioned them, I forgot all about them, they helped me with a blow out few weeks back when my husband didn't put the lug wrench and jack back in with my spare... I will go get a price from them as well...
