Well perhaps not, but 17,000 miles closer on this overnight and that is super cool! And since I started watching it on Saturday it was cool not because we also had a Space Station viewing....but because I got Aldrin's autograph the same day!!

While you're Moon watching check out the Space Station, TWICE tonight. Just having fun folks sharing free activities.
Don't stand in the street.

I went out last night with the kiddos to see the moon. Looked brighter than usual, but I'm not so sure about larger due to it being closer. Also exciting was to see the International Space Station fly past as we were standing out there looking at the night sky. We had seen the ISS a number of times so we knew what to look for and where.
For those interested in such things, go to ISS tracker (or Google it. There are numerous websites with live tracking info).
While the space shuttle was still flying, we could watch it too using the tracking sites to let us know when to go outside.
Cool space stuff

Yeah I miss the Shuttle, but glad to have the ISS. Keep looking up as they say.
