Has anyone in the area grown Passion Flower? I've had mine for two years now, and still no flowers!
Thanks!

I grow the native passion flower vine in my garden. It has been there for at least 12 years and comes back and flowers every year. It also pops up in parts of my yard where I don't want it, so I end up pulling it from those areas. It receives full sun. I don't know why your passion flower vine does not flower unless you planted it in full shade.

Mine just started blooming last weekend. This is only year three for mine and like Denise said I already have two or three popping up in other areas.

Mine has been blooming for just over a month.
Last year it was eaten to the roots by the vast amount of caterpillars. In fact, some died because there was no food left. We weren't sure it would come back this year but it did (we just control the caterpillar population).

The first year is always a challenge keeping up with the Gulf Fritillary butterfly caterpillars (I love having the butterflies in my garden!), but the second and years after, things tend to balance out because birds, wasps and assassin bugs find the caterpillars. Plus, the vine grows so much more after the first year, the chewed leaves really aren't a problem. Since we've received the rain the last few days, things will grow and bloom even more!
