Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can get FREE boxes for moving? So far I have heard to call Bed Bath & Beyond and Sam's Club. However, every time I have called BB&B they do not have any available, and Sam's boxes do not have lids or flaps.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Target, WalMart, etc., might have boxes. Ask friends and neighbors to save paper boxes from their offices.

Forgive the pun but sometimes one can get boxes from the "Big Box" type stores. The do-it-yourself places can help but ask ahead of time or arrive when they receive products. Unlike in the past, many stores these days break down boxes quickly. Also check at the storage places.

Try Staples, Hobby Lobby, Hallmark and the grocery stores.

Along with Craigslist another option would be FreeCycle.

We just finished packing and used apple boxes from Market Street for 80% of our stuff. The boxes are very sturdy and have handle holes for easy carrying.

We got lots of free boxes of all sizes off of craigslist when we moved. I just kept looking until I found free boxes in the area. People will usually just leav them outside for the first person to drive by and pick them up.

Liquor stores traditionally have heavy duty boxes, and lots of them. Here in Allen, you'd have to drive north or south to find one, so call ahead and ask.

Hmmm, never been to one but that is a great idea. I can share that in the insulator Hobby!
