band camp starts the week of July 29. It's non-stop until December if we go to the championship again. Band kiddos (and parents) put in a LOT of extra hours.
BTW, all that sound was coming from only 150 performers including 35 or so in the color guard.

Yes...the Cavaliers are incredible. It is amazing that a small corps like that can be so loud. That is what happens when you have all brass and percussion with no woodwinds. The level of talent and dedication is takes to be in a drum corps is phenomenal!
