There is a small Bennigans on 75 in Plano a little past Lowes or somewhere near that area. Am wondering if it is a small version of the chain that closed and if anyone has eaten there??

It is related to the old chain. A capital management company bought the assets of the bankrupt company and kind of "rebooted" it.
I'm not sure how similar it really is, though.

I ate there about a year ago after I first noticed it open. I had the Monte Cristo which is what I used to get when Bennigans was open. Tasted the same and from what I remember the menu was about the same. Just not close enough for that quality of food to go more often. I prefer Cheddars if I'm after that style of food.

It's out of business now. I had been a couple of times after the reboot and it was't really the same.

I 100% agree...after the reboot there was something just...off...about the place. I'm sad about that, because I used to REALLY like Bennigan's and was excited when this one came back.
