The Allen Animal Shelter still has kittens! Most of the tabby and calico kitten have been adopted. They still have one gray tabby and three black kittens left. Have you noticed how black cats seem to get overlooked when it comes to adoption? I think people feel a bit superstitious when it comes to black cats, but they are just like any other cat, except for their color. I have two black cats that I adopted and the are both very sweet cats. They have crossed my path many times and I have not had anything bad happen - only good things! So, if you are looking to adopt a cat for your family, please don't overlook a cat because it is black. They can make a wonderful addition to your family!
