We are relocating to Allen next summer and looking at both private and public options. Does anyone have any feedback on Lucas Christian Academy or McKinney Christian Academy?

I have several friends who are very happy with Lucas Christian.
Crazy doesn't even begin to cover it.

Thanks for the response! So far, I have only heard positive feedback from LCA. Just wanting to find out if there are any others worth checking out in the area.

I have heard good things about both schools. LCA is smaller than MCA, which might impact the number of options students have. For instance, MCA plays 11 man football and LCA plays 6 man. MCA has a band that plays at their games, but I am not sure about LCA. It really depends in which activities your child is interested in participating. Allen schools have a much larger number of activities from which children can choose, but they can't offer the Bible based curriculum. It is truly a parental preference.

We have now visited & toured both LCA and MCA. Both have their pros and cons, so we continue to pray about the best option and we may find another option in the area as well. We just need the smaller environment and desire a Christian school at this point. Our son does not play football, he is a swimmer/runner and is very musically inclined. I am hoping to find some families at MCA that can provide some insight from a current family's prospective.
