That's all I am saying on that one.
Maybe we could schedule it as a day game??

42-0 Allen before halftime. No Rowlett this year.

The playoffs are so watered down. When you have 3-7, 4-6, and 5-5 teams making it that's a joke. However, I'm glad these graduating players can say, "we made the playoffs!" They are playing the mammoth and dominating Eagles. I don't see anyone stopping Allen this year.
The playoffs never start until the third round...ever. But, it just means we get more games to watch them play and the band, etc. perform.

Are you sure about the game time? I think it may be at 7:30. Has anyone ever taken DART to Fair Park?

You would need to transfer downtown to use DART.
I have parking available downtown along the DART line so I may go down that way but I think for the average traveler from Allen, start rummaging through the change drawer for the $10 to park.

Traffic headed down 75 last night was a nightmare. I hope next week is better.

Getting to the Cotton Bowl via Dart will be no problem Friday night. Just remember, there are fewer trains in the late evening.

I think the HOV lanes will be open by then. Also there is a good chance of rain Friday so that might complicate things a bit.

Don't let it make you not be there to support the team LIVE....but as reported by Matt Wixon on Sports HS
Friday night’s Allen vs. Mesquite Horn football game will be televised live on TXA Channel 21. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. at the Cotton Bowl.

I am happy the kids get to play in a storied venue, but I find it hard to believe event organizers thought it was a terrific idea to send 20,000 plus HS football fans down to Fair Park the same day that 50,000 people are going to be downtown for the 50th anniversary commemoration of the Kennedy Assassination complete with lots of street closings and extra security.
Recommend leaving lots of time, choose some alternate southbound route that runs EAST of Central and approach Fair Park from the east (along with all the folks from Mesquite of course.)
Go Eagles!

I may have to sit this one out (a rarity for me). This week has been incredibly difficult and the offering of a telecast may be the final decision point.

It should be real messy as well, the field is natural grass. There won't be much left of it after our game Friday and 2 games on Saturday.

Here's the end of a conversation Matt Wixon had with the Rockwall coach (plays Saturday) about the field:
I asked Rockwall coach Rodney Webb about what shape the field might be in after Allen and Horn play. His joking reply:
“We’re worried how that field is going to be after the Allen band is out there,” he said.
The Allen Escadrille, of course, is enormous.
