The Landry Award 2013 will be presented the evening of Monday, December 16 in Dallas at the Communities Foundation of Texas, and will air live on TXA 21.
What Is The Landry Award?
The best high school football player in North Texas will be honored with an award named in memory of former Dallas Cowboys head coach Tom Landry.
The Landry Award recognizes the top high school football player (any position, any division, any school) in the DFW area, as chosen by a voting panel of former coaches and players, members of the media and local leaders.
Nominations for The Landry Award were accepted online and the names of the five top finalists have been announced. The public is encouraged to vote for the player of their choice. The Landry Award will be presented to the top player’s school at a ceremony to be held in early December.
