I would assume tickets for Saturday's game are available at the field house?

What about parking at the Death Star? Will Jerruh charge $50 to park?

Of course there is nothing that beats being there, but the game is also being broadcast on Fox Southwest.

Look for me on the telecast - I'll be the one wearing the blue shirt.

And a friendly reminder to everyone. NFL & AT&T Stadium rules for bags will be in effect. Read up on them if you're not familiar. Basically only clear bags of a certain size are allowed. No purses, etc. And they take it very seriously. You will be walking back to your car if you attempt to bring in that Dooney & Burke ;-)

I know I can't take a camera bag, but can I take the camera? It says you can't take a binoculars case but can wear the binoculars. Anybody know?

They never allow video cameras at UIL state games. Not sure about still cameras (since most can do video as well).
I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it!

Yes you can take still cameras into the Deathstar (ie Where cowboy teams go to die), however, there is a limitation on the size of the lens you can bring.

I usually end up sneaking in my big boy lens. I have my ways.

With the quality of video readily available on cell phones, I wish they would re-evaluate their position and let people bring in their better equipment. It's an outdated policy.

Does anyone know if the game will be aired live? If so what channel? I'm on Directv. If not what is the radio broadcast station? Preferably one that is pro Allen... though listening to the tone of the Pro Desoto broadcast last week go from "We are so much better and we are finally going to the championship..." to "What the..." was priceless.

It may just be me but the vile backlash about Allen winning this year seems at a much higher level than in the past. So much hate out there. We recruit, our HS is so big it should be illegal, and on and on.

Jealousy is bitter. But let's be honest, program success, excellent coaching staffs, the size of the talent pool to draw from, the single HS scheme throughout middle school, the Stadium, diverse socio-economics - all help contribute to a formula for long term success in Football.

Allen does not need to recruit - per se. The amenities and opportunities in themselves are the draw.

But don't take this as a condemnation of the incredible hard work, athletic talent and self sacrifices the players and families also took upon themselves. The players get all the credit, but it tremendously helps to be able to assemble so many talented, dedicated athletes onto the same team.

The ring is not the goal but merely a symbol of the journey.

Let's also not forget that the success of past Allen Eagle teams (regardless of achieving a state title) helped build a foundation of hard working attitude and strong team cohesiveness that stood as a great example to the younger players coming up in the program ...

Loved that Allen won!!! So happy for the team.

My only question is did the coaches pull the 1st string so that others (especially some of the seniors) got to play too? We had such a huge lead I hope that some of the 2nd and maybe even 3rd string seniors got to play. I'm assuming that for some seniors this was their last football game.
