Does anybody go to the Thai Cafe on east Bethany? It's in the little shopping center in the same building as Hibachi Rock. I've been there a few times, and the food is really good... but the place has been mostly empty every time I've visited.

I'm interested in other Thai places in/around Allen, if anyone has recommendations.

Pad Thai has always been very good.
Don't blame me, I didn't vote for him.

My husband loves it and gets it every time we go. I'm not a soup person so I can't really say.

Thai is our favorite, and Thai Pan used to be our favorite restaurant. However, several months ago we checked the restaurant inspection scores and saw that they scored a 59. Looking at the schedule that's currently posted, their last score (Jul 2013) was up to a 75, but that doesn't sound too great either. Thai Cafe currently shows a score of 77. No matter how good the food may be, those scores keep us from going.

Here's the link to the list if you want to look up how other restaurants have fared:

Haha, that should've been Thai Pan.

Tried it last night. Thai egg rolls were good. I had the red curry. It had great flavour but wasn't very spicy. (I didn't ask them to make it spicy and they didn't ask me how I wanted it). My son ordered cashew delight. It was good full of vegetables. I ordered Tom Yum Soup but was very disappointed as it had coconut milk in it.

Thai Cafe is quite good as well. The menu is abundant and their curries are my favorite. At one point, they offered delivery and they were among the favorites for a day labor crew that worked for me some time back. To get a group of Latin American men to dive into an Asian dish takes some really good food.
