I cant wait for this place to open. The town I gre up in has one and we have to eat there everytime we go there. Now I can just go right down the street. And the manager from the Lufkin location will be running it, she is so great, love their chips and salsa,,,HURRY UP!!!

Well that is an older building, so I am sure they are having to do alot of repair to make it pass every inspection that comes up. And I think we all know the trouble it is to get a liquor liscence in Allen.

Then there's the intangible of that building having gone through so many tenants, including some notable name brands, yet they always caved in.
I hope Cafe Del Rio will fare better, but I don't know that TexMex is really the automatic winner that it used to be.

And prior to Ralph and Kacoo's, it was the 'Cow Head' place...Sorry I can't remember the name but that's what my kids always called it. LOL That was probably 5+ yrs ago.

I know the manager at the Del Rios and she gave me the tour of it today, love the design on the inside of the place. The patio area is huge!! will have a stage and will have bands on weekends. It has the garage doors for windows and during nice evenings they will open them up. Also they will have a free nacho area by the bar, and will have that along with great happy hour specials. Tons of seating and a private room for parties and events. They also have alot of room for outside waiting and benches to sit on while waiting for seats. So ready for some food!!

We ate at the VIP party there last night, they did a great job with all the people in there. Food was great and drinks were good, and the band was great too. Looking forward to going back Saturday, manager said they might even open tonight depending on how they felt after last night
