Was at a friends house and there was a discussion about someone having 5 dogs as a pets in McKinney, TX. My understanding in McKinney only allowed up to 4 dogs. I was asked how many pets is allowed here in Allen. I had no idea so I did look up and not find it. Can someone tell me how many pets (Dogs) is allowed here in Allen. Thank you.....

The number in Allen is a limit of four.
Sec. 3-5. - Registration; license.
(a)
(e)
A person commits an offense without regard to mental state, if the person owns, keeps, or harbors more than four (4) domestic animals (of the same species) over six (6) months of age.

Interesting... so according to that document I can own 4 cats, 4 dogs, 4 hamsters, 4 ferrets, 4 birds. Hmmm... for some reason I think I should keep my daughter from knowing this or I won't hear the end of it. :)
