I saw that they recently posted this to their Facebook wall. It's a shame I really liked their sushi.
"To Our Hibachi Rock customers,
It is sad to say that this may be the last day that we will have the pleasure of serving you our food. We have been fighting a battle that we may no longer be able to fight. Thank you for being our customer! It has been our pleasure. Thank you for the loyalty you have shown us over the last 14 years! If anything changes, I will be sure to update you all. Jet"

That building has been for sale for a while. I saw it listed on ebby.com a while back.

I am not surprised. We stopped going a while back. My stepdaughter likes the hibachi experience so whenever she's in town we liked to take her. For a couple of times we went we were simply told hibachi service was not available. We had to order from the kitchen. Well the meal prices were the same, so WTH? The prices at hibachi places are jacked up for the entertainment value, or else the food is no better than most Chinese takeout places. After that we had not been back and we're really happy with Shogun in McKinney, a great recommendation I got from here!

Yep - Jet's a good guy. They do still operate the Tiger Asian Bowl on McDermott.

I hope it stays open. We visit it frequently, but it's never really busy.

Thai Cafe is to remain open as well. I'm told it's the same owner.

So I drove by today, and it looks like all of that construction material that's been in the never opened Heidi's location was out in the grass.
