The Collin County Substance Abuse Coalition is presenting “Be Aware, Substance Use and its Impact on Your Family” on Saturday, April, 12 from 9 am -12 pm at Collin College’s Spring Creek Campus. This coalition is comprised of representatives from area school districts, police departments, DEA, treatment centers, and community agencies. Come and hear what is going on in Collin County regarding substance use and ways to combat it.
Topics that will be addressed include:
• Parenting and Prevention Strategies
• Collin County Trends in Substance Use
• Signs and Symptoms
• How to Get Help
• Panel Discussion, Questions and Answers
Drawing for prizes throughout the morning
Community agencies and treatment providers will have resource tables available with additional information
3 FREE hours of continuing education will be offered for LPC, LCDC, LMFT, and Social Work licensures
