My 14 yr old son is looking for classes to help him further his cooking skills. Anyone have any ideas where he might meet other teens interested in cooking or some local places to get some further education?

The high school has a track for culinary arts, he might consider that.

Whole Foods and Central Market each have a cooking school.

You might try there.

There was a place on El Dorado in McKinney across from Nothing Bundt Cake behind Mcallisters if it is still open. I think it was Young Chef Academy or something like that. Sorry not more helpful.

I love the classes at Central Market, but most of them are 18 and up. I have done a couple of parent/child classes with my 15-year-old - they're pretty good about working with the age of the kids in the class, though.
If anyone else has any ideas, I'd love to hear them, too!

Thank you for the great ideas everyone! We'll look into them! He started a FB group called Food Talk for Teens so he could find other kids who love to cook like him as well!
