What we see here is a very small sliver of people's lives. Dispute and contentiousness are not hate but rather often the fertilizer for success and unity. I would expect that if one were to follow the contributors to this forum around during the remainder of their daily life one would see many actions like those in the YouTube video.

I fully agree that disagreement is not hate, and lively discussion and debate can be positive. The majority of posts are exactly that. But there are some that just want to argue for their own pleasure. I find it hard to imagine they do anything constructive outside of this forum either.

Melissa, maybe "haters" is the wrong choice of word. How about "disturbed" or maybe we could say that some just have mental issues.
