This race just became more interesting and probably much closer.

Not sure what percentage of votes the APD endorsement moves in a statewide election but good for them. And Paxton has turned down any debates or other face to face appearances with Branch.
Meanwhile, we watched a little of the Dewhurst-Patrick debacle this weekend. I really would love an "option C" in most of these runoffs. "Civil discourse" has become such and oxymoron.

I used the Allen Police Association as an example of a trend that will interesting to see if it continues. A 3rd choice in both elections would be really nice right now. My husband thought he knew who he was going to vote for and now, as many surely will, wait to see how things play out as the election gets closer.

McKinney PD retracted their endorsement of Paxton yesterday. Just keeping score.

Paxton was not a friend to local governments and would likely continue to be a challenge for them as AG.
