Why do you think Oregon? I kind if wonder if he might choose Oregon in part to avoid comparisons to both his dad and Manziel, but I sure would love to see him go to TAMU.

I'm also pulling for Texas A&M but I think he'll choose Oregon. The Aggies already have a Rivals 100 recruit in Kyle Allen at QB and while that combination would be explosive Kyler has got to consider where he will get the most playing time and which school would benefit him the most.

The outlier that I don't know much about is baseball. I suspect he may want to play both sports and the ability to play both football and baseball may factor in but I don't know anything about any of the schools being considered relative to that.

I think he'll do fine at A&M under Sumlin. Sumlin is one of the better coaches out there.

Yep ... I'd say he's the best A&M has had. Bear Bryant didn't hit his prime until after he left there. The rest have been inconsistent. Sumlin has brought the needed consistency to the program.

Whoa Al, slow your roll. :)
He had one surprising year with a Heisman performance from a kid he didn't recruit. He had a rather disappointing second year campaign. He is predicted to have a mediocre third year (predicted anywhere from 7-10 in the SEC).
I like Sumlin, but let's let him prove he can do it from year to year before you place him above RC.

Nope ... I stand by my comment. He's the real deal. SEC is a tough conference and they've done well so far. Slocum was indeed good, but Sumlin will surpass him.

We shall see. One over achieving year and one under achieving year leaves lots of questions. That and they need to consistently beat 2/3 of Bama, LSU, Auburn every year just to be SEC West runner ups. That's going to always be a tough road for any coach.

Sumlin will bolt as soon as a better offer comes his way.
