I just received this e-mail from the MCJROTC instructor at AHS if anyone is interested:
On Flag Day, June 14th, the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) will be hosting a patriotic celebration honoring our American Flag, concluding with a Flag Retirement Ceremony.
The AHS MCJROTC is providing a Flag Posting and Retiring Detail, with a Cadet playing Taps, in support of the event.
The event will be held at the McKinney Fire Station 7 which is located at 861 Independence Pkwy, McKinney TX 75070. The event is from 2pm-4pm.
The NSDAR is also inviting all active duty or veteran military members to wear their uniforms or other appropriate attire indicating their branch of service.
All are welcome to attend and we hope to see you there.
