Hot and humid with a chance of storms.....

Keep it at the AAC. I have one more to get through HS.

I think the AAC worked out well and every kid had their moment on the Jumbotron, however it cost a whole lot to rent that place.

I've attended AHS graduation at UNT, Eagle Stadium and AAC. AAC was by far the better experience.

UNT was crowded and hot (and now too small for AHS graduation). Eagle Stadium is local, subject to the elements, less expensive to use, but unless you arrive early you won't be near the action. AAC is expensive, cooler (great job of cranking the AC) and in general equally good seats for everyone.

It really doesn't matter where the event is held. when my child is walking across stage, I'll be there.

Have you seen our stadium??

Maybe Pogue can dome it and HVAC it to make up for making bad concrete. I received tons of tweets from the jumbotron.

Our only problem at the AAC was just before our son was to cross the stage a family came and sat in front of us blocking our view. We got a picture from the big screen, but were not able to see him actually cross the stage because these people would not sit down even when we asked. Our video camera was on a tripod and it would have been difficult to suddenly pick it up and lift it over their heads to get that view. The only picture I was able to get was with my still camera of the big screen just as he stepped off the stage.

We thought the ceremony went off very well. I am counting my lucky stars that we are not in Plano, whose three high schools are all graduating today -- yes, on a weekday -- in the Dallas Convention Center with $12 parking and a limit on the number of family member tickets per graduate.

Loved AAC but my understanding is it was a very expensive evening for AISD. More $$ to add to Pogue, et al's tab.

Did Pogue pick up the parking tab for everyone? Parking would have been free at AHS. I won't even mention the cost for gas and the drive time involved.

Yes, my #2 son graduated. One more . . . in three years.
