I need a new roof and was looking online here and saw that LSDG Roofing is locally owned and operated and advertises here. I have seen their trucks around town. If you have used their services, please let me know your experience with them.

Likewise, if you have a recommendation for a good roofer, please let me know. Thanks.

I have used LSDG Roofing in the past for repairs to my roof. They were recommended by friends who used them in the past. LSDG did a great job of making my repair.

We used LSDG a few years back, and if all you are looking to do is replace a roof I think they are a fine company.

I will say that I wasn't thrilled with how well they cleaned up after our project, as I was finding bits of shingle and nails in our flowerbed, and around the perimeter of our house for weeks.

I would NOT recommend them if you have plans to do something additional however, such as attic turbines or other active/passive ventilation, as it's not really in their wheelhouse. Like most roofing companies, the guys who actually do the work don't speak much English, and are focused on getting the job done as quickly as possible. In our case they used cheap materials from Home Depot or Lowes, that weren't mounted level, and either stopped working or made a horrible racket, causing us to replace them with better quality turbines less than a year later.

The actual work in putting in the vent was pretty sloppy too, as the holes they cut in our roof deck to place a turbine were a mess, and the soffit vents they put in, to attempt to improve airflow were installed inside out.

I should have taken the hint when our sales rep acted hesitant to do ventilation work, but I wanted to kill two birds with one stone and get our shingles replaced plus improve our attic temp.

Their prices were good however, and their sales guy/rep was responsive and professional. They also stood by their roof work, fixing a leak problem we had around a skylight even though it occurred a few years after the roof was done.
