Veteran actor, film producer and director Kevin Corcoran introduces the Walt Disney classic Pollyanna via telephone conference call at 7 p.m., Tuesday, June 17 at the Allen Public Library, 300 N. Allen Dr. A child star of of Old Yeller and Pollyanna, Kevin Corcoran “Moochie” played the part of Jimmy Bean. Starring Jane Wyman, Hayley Mills, Kevin Corcoran, Karl Malden and Agnes Moorehead, a young girl comes to an embittered town and confronts its attitude with her determination to see the best in life.
As an adult, Corcoran served as Assistant Director for 51 episodes for Murder, She Wrote and produced 14 episodes of the television show Sons of Anarchy. In 2006, Disney Studios designated Corcoran as a Disney legend.
