There must be a "black hole" at the Allen post office for out going mail. We have mailed several things from here and they take a long time to get to destination or don't get there at all. Our granddaughter lived in Ft Worth and mail sometimes took five to seven days to reach her. Also mailed some cards to Athens Tx last week to my grandson's scout camp and they never arrived. Mailed them the week before as the troop requested. He received the other mail from other locations.Also mailed a pkg to Atlanta; said would arrive in 2 or 3 days. Took 5 or more to get there. Guess I will mail things from Plano or Dallas from now on. On the plus side however, our neighborhood mailman delivers in the mornings so that is the good thing
A client mailed my wife a check on June 14th. It was postmarked June 14. She lives 4 miles away. Allen to Allen and we received it on June 24. 10 days!
