Since we recently moved to the area, we're looking for a dentist for our 7-year-old son (well, my husband and I need one too, but my son is due for a visit). We were recommended to Dr. Gough in Allen which seems like an awesome office, but when I phoned the office they said they don't like parents to be present while they are doing work on the children. I had an awful experience with a dentist when I was a kid, so I am adament about being present for all procedures.
So, does anyone have a recommendation for a good dentist? I think I would prefer a pediatric dentist, but as long as it is someone who is good with kids and has a few things for kids to do in the office while waiting (video games or such), I'd be interested.

I use Dr. Lisi for my son, he has been going to her since he was 5 (he is 12 now) and she is awesome with kids. Her office is very Kid friendly - with tons of things to do. They also give prizes to the kids when they are done.

Thanks so much for the recommendation. I just phoned Dr. Lisi's office and they were very helpful. I made an appt with them.
