I still don't get how to turn on the orange fusion/world thingy (borrowed that word from civicminded ) saying there are new posts in a forum. The only forum that is turning orange for me is the Everything Allen forum.

I had problems with this too. I think I fixed it - you do it by the tab at the bottom of the front page where you choose what to view - new posts, posts the last 24 hours, etc. Hope this helps you! S

I messed with this some more and may be steering you wrong after all. Hopefully Web will swoop in and help us both make our worlds orange! =)

I still get several colors. It's not related to my new TV screen I'm sure...my TV is mostly just on the radar this month, and my blue lakes (radar map) are about five different colors.
So it seems I have brownish folders when I've seen them...but orange or yellow until I open them??

Check this to possible solution.
1.- clear out your cookies
Go to My Controls
Click “Mark All Read”
At the Mark All Read page place a check mark in each and every forum.
Click Continue
Go to Help
Click “My Cookies”
Click Expire Cookies
Login again
2 - Colors of Folders
Go to any forum page (not main forum main)
Scroll to the bottom of the page
Note the Icon Legend
