That's an opinion, and we all have one. I would not agree with most of that post, except many of us do know people there, and some injured. I wouldn't try and lump those sentiments into the other, as all people feel concern for the Troops, no matter their take on the conflict itself.
But for Topic's sake. I'm one that usually aligns myself with the conservative side of things. That will usually mean I "side" with the Rep side, though I do consider which Candidate appeals to me. For the Dem side, too many times people think they are for helping poor people. History doesn't bear that out exactly that way. Many of us in here do things to help poor people. Why wouldn't we? But the more we (some of us) see, hear goof-off-gimmee more-help me again people, it grows the gap between attitudes. Supporting these lazy clowns and their baggy costume habits, does nothing to help anyone. And that is what some think is the goal of some voters, and some hopefuls trying to appeal to them. They are speaking about "Change". I want to change some things too, but not what they appear to want.
But the Topic asks us to say what we think about these things, and I did.

Perhaps you know one of the thousands of amerians sent home with Traumatic Brain Injury and then just forgotten.
I know some who have come home in body bags. I know some that didn't have enough parts left to send home. If the locals there want us out, then they need to get their government in order. We can't stay there an babysit forever.
