Fundraiser Forum FAQs
Why a fundraiser forum?
Our goal is to help local community groups get greater exposure by making available a way for them to announce their fundraising activities to a large segment of the Allen community. We also hope Allen residents will gain a greater awareness about how these groups contribute to our community.
Who can post announcements?
Fundraising activities must benefit Allen residents. As an example: PTA’s, Churches, School Clubs, Civic Groups, Charitable Organizations, Scouts, etc. This list is by no means inclusive.
What information should be included in your announcement?
Include the name of the sponsoring group and your contact information. If possible include an ending date for your activity. Remember this information is being made public. You can also describe your organization and fundraising campaign in a short message. Posting a link to your organization’s or group’s web site is permitted.
You must be a registered user on Allen Talk to list your Fundraiser.
