Our Scout Pack (out of Reed Elementary) required payment up front when we turned the orders in. We, however, did not require people that ordered from my son to pay us ahead of time. We still have two orders (ones that did prepay) not delivered - left messages and notes on the door, but no call back so far.
I am Cookie Mom for my daughter's troop and they are absolutely adamant about not taking money for cookies until they are delivered. However, if you are ONLY making a Troop to Troop donation you can pay up front.

If anyone wants to find their nearest cub scout pack or troop, visit www.southernskydistrict.org and click on contact us. Then select Cub Scout Units or Boy Scout Units to find the group closest to you. You will get a map that you can zoom in to find your neighborhood then click on the scout icon for the contact information for that unit.

Wow, it's nice to see mention of the district website here. If you have any ideas for the website, please send me a private topic here, or click on the 'contact the webmaster' on the Southern Sky District website. For those of you who don't know, one of our own scouts from Allen came up with the name and logo for the new district.
As for popcorn, I believe the money is due to the council on the 5th or 6th of December.

Yep, our kind Webmaster here on Allen Online has had a link to the District for years. Gee, nice to have bunches of Scouters around too, haha.
