Can anyone recommend any of the daycares (east side of town) for after school care?
My son had been going to Exclusively Before and After but they apparently shut down operations yesterday with no advance warning. Parents showed up to drop off kids only to find the doors locked and no notice on the door of what was going on, thus leaving us parents scrambling for daycare for our kids.
Any advice is appreciated.

My younger daughter goes to Cornerstone School. They have after-school care that I have heard good things about (my daughter is in Pre-K). I have also heard good things about Kids R Kids.
Sorry about your daycare closing. What a headache

Yes Ms. Alyce was the owner and I am a former employee, things got really messy and Ms. A had no choice, it really is an unfortunate thing for a daycare that has been around for so long to just slip away. I would doubt that Ms. A makes it online for awhile.

That is so sad if it is true. They have been there a long time. I have noticed that MsAlyce has been absent for awhile on the forums. I hope they can get things back in order for all the kids who love going there.

For sure. I've visited with her many times at the day care even tho I don't have kids that age. Great lady and I'm sorry she didn't ask anyone else for help if it was needed. I'll have to look around and see if I can find her cell phone number. Have been a bit remiss in keeping in touch the last few months.

Primrose East Allen has a good reputation on the East Side. Our kids aren't in the after school program, but we've been very pleased thus far with the teachers and management.
